good to see the reflector patch on Livvy's backpack works
Just another damn thing to do. Seriously I feel like every other day one of my kids has a paper requiring me to do something for their class or for the school fundraiser or the book fair, or collect box tops,or walk them to school for national walk to school day etc. I usually never make it a point to do these things cause I can never keep up. I am sure my kids have missed their fair share of wear your pajamas to school day. I feel bad about it cause this stuff is fun for them but mostly I am pissed at these damn cutesy PTA bitches that come up with this crap! Last night after teaching a class and making dinner and I was ready for a Hot steamy bath when my kids spring the whole "its crazy hair day tomorrow" thing on me. I decide to go to the store and buy a bunch of spray paint and hair clips and rubber bands and make the best of it. This morning I woke up and got as creative as a non morning person can get. They were so excited for school so I am happy about my efforts. But as I sent them away on their bikes the thought occurred to me that I hope it really is crazy hair day! I never saw a paper or announcement about it and my kids are notorious for mixing things up like that. Now I am crossing my fingers till they get home.
