Spring Break Day 4
This was the day Annette had to go home. We went to I-Hop for a big goodbye dinner with my parents Annette and the kids and then drove her to the airport. No more pictures and no more fun.
Dallin played baseball every morning with his new select team the Pirates. I am excited about his new coach cause he was a Major League ball player and he really knows his stuff. If Dallin really wants this he has a chance to be really good.
Spring Break Day 3
I just realized I should have done this back wards but o well I am already to be done with this.
Day 3 we went to Pump It Up but we played it smart and brought along a friend for each kid so the adults didn't have to get in the jumpers and play. The only down side was about every 8 seconds each kid would come up and tell us that some one bonked their head, landed on their chin, or they got an elbow rug burn. It was constant until we designated one of the picnic rooms as 'The Injury Room" and when they would come up with tears we would send them to the injury room and it seemed to ease their pain quickly and they would go back out and jump again.
We had sonic brought in to eat and Annette ran to a convenient store to buy donuts and sprite for a later snack.
After that the kids went down to the pond with Grandpa to fish and they found this itty bitty tiny weeny turtle. We decided to keep it since we already had a place for it back at Home.
The injury room. They must have been pumping laughing gas through the vents cause the kids felt instantly better once they got in there.
Meet Rep Tino he is about the size of a milk lid right now. Cute!

Spring Break Day 2
This was a laid back day. At least that was the plan. The problem is we did an Insanity work out before we started the day. So we were sore and tired before all the fun began. We had Mcdonalds for lunch to let the kids run around and get energy out so we could sit and hopefully recoup some energy. Then Annette bought a blow up pool and we filled it up with hose water mixed with buckets of hot water to make the perfect temp for this time of year. The kids always want to swim but going to a pool is still too cold. Me and Annette sun tanned on the tramp and the kids went crazy in the pool. Then dinner at Red Robbin followed by a trip to Toys R US and each kid got to pick out a toy. That kept them entertained till bed time. Love spring break.
Spring Break Day 1
Dallin acting serious about his injury.
sorry it blurry
My sister Annette came out to visit for spring break. We didn't plan anything crazy exciting. Like Hawaii or South Padre Island ...but we do have plans to get out of thew house at least once a day. She arrived on Sunday and we were rockin and rollin. We had lunch and went to head out to see a movie at which point Annette talked to us about Dallin's toe. He bent it back playing in the yard with the dog and it was badly bruised and swollen. He had baseball camps starting the next day so we decided we needed to make sure it wasn't broken. The vote was to go to The LORAX and then hit up the ER for xrays after. Don't you just love that we have our priorities straight? In the end they said it was a bad sprain and he would heal quickly. The thing about the ER is it took about 30 min to come to this conclusion and over 2 hours to get three pieces of paper work ready for us to sign so we could leave. At one point you voluntarily walk into the place hoping to get some help and then at some point it starts to feel like you are being held hostage and you begin to plan out escape plans in great detail in your head. Usually you get to that point when your phone battery dies and there is no more facebooking and games to help pass the time.

Salmon any one?
My kids are the picky-est eaters on the planet. Hands down. I hate and dread meal time cause if its not chicken nuggets,a hot dog, or mac and cheese they will flip out. At one point we tried the forceful approach. I think it doesn't help that I am a bad cook but long story short Dallin took a fork full of food, tried to swallow it, and then threw up all over the table. The smell of vomit was so strong it ruined our appetite for the dinner left on our plates so...we packed all the kids up and drove to TGI Fridays. I had given up on fighting them for a few months. But the truth is its not that healthy to eat only three things ever so I have been continually plugging away at getting them to try new stuff. I obviously try to cook better so there is no lurching or dry heaving. But the good news is we are making progress. The other night I tried to feed them salmon. Which is huge in this house. It took me all day to gain the courage and then I served it. Olivia took tiny itty bitty bites but other than that every one ate their food. Its an gigantic sized victory that deserves a night out at the Olive Garden where we can eat some good food finally.
Shoe Fetish?
Ever since I started my new job at the gym I noticed I hardly ever wear normal clothes. Like jeans or skirts or every day clothing. I am almost always in gym clothing. And some where along the line I started buying more attractive clothes to wear to the gym. In other words I stopped shopping at walmart and started shopping at sporting goods stores. Then I started matching the shoes I wear with the outfit. So its my way of being girly in a not so girly, pumping iron like a bad ass at the gym in matching cute workout gear kind of way. Did you follow all of that ?
I have tons of running shoes now. I use coupons and get them on sale and I always buy at least two workout tops to match the shoes to make the new shoe purchase seem more worth it. I won't tell you how many pairs I own. Its a huge number and people would just judge me. But let me say its over 20. I need to get a handle on it soon cause I practically spend every dime my job brings in on this little obsession. And no one at the gym seems to give a damn that I have all these shoes that match my tops. Just one more pink pair of Nikes and I promise I will stop.

Pet Update!
Yes our pet situation is ever changing. So there is a vital need to update you all. I can honestly say I am not to worried about losing readers over dull posts like this cause tons of women are waaaaaay behind on their blogging and mine is pretty much the only one with some thing new to read. So sit back and grab your popcorn. This post is gonna be good.
Meet Gorgia. I didn't name her because we adopted her. She is so pretty and very very smart. Which is why she is perfect for us. I have invested heavily in dog training classes and its paying off big time. As of right now she walks with out pulling me, stops at the stop signs, and walks close by my side. She doesn't chase other dogs or squirrels. She has a "place" where she sits and stays until I release her. So if the pizza guy comes or a small child that is afraid of dogs comes into our home she stays in place to help the visitor feel at ease. She will sit and stay sitting even if I go miles away until I tell her to stop sitting. Its beyond me how these people can pull off so much but I love it!!
She is a German Shepard mix and a real sweety.
(I can't seem to flip this picture to save my life) In the tank behind Derek is a cute baby aqua turtle. It swims and loves the sun light. The best part is the kids can take it swimming in the back yard pool this summer. His name is Cesar
Olivia got a new Hamster at Christmas. She named her Cocoa. Derek got a hamster too from Papa Weeks but it again died after a couple of weeks so Livvy bought connection tubes and joined both hamster cages to give Cocoa more living space.
Addie got another bird to be friends with her first bird Isabella. Max is blue and a very pretty birdy. And I didn't know this.... but birds love to have a companion. They full on fly around the house now when we take them out of their cage. Andrew and Addie refuse to keep clipping their wings.
Dallin still has El FernO. I seriously doubted that he would live this long. But he has and we recently had to get him a bigger cage cause he was out growing the other one. Occasionally Dallin will draw a cool picture and tape it to the back of his cage to show some love.
We still have the pet fish. I swear she is Anorexic though she almost never eats and still manages to live. Its crazy.
